2026 Greater Richland Little League Baseball Registration

Greater Richland Little League (GRLL) has served the Richland and West Richland communities since 1951. GRLL provides baseball and tee ball programs for boys and girls ages 5 to 13 and are proud to continue to offer the Intermediate division (12 games) for age 13 (May-June)

BASEBALL Tryouts for 2026 Season for ages 8 and up will be held on Saturday, February 28th and Saturday, March 7th @ Bombing Range Sports Complex. Tryout date will be by last name, more details to come!!

Note: If you volunteer to head coach, you may be eligible to receive a refund for the child you are coaching, once you meet the training and meeting requirements. Further information to follow. Please reach out with any questions to [email protected].

2026 SOFTBALL Registration for Greater Richland Little League

WELCOME TO THE 2026 GREATER RICHLAND LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL REGISTRATION!
 
For the 2026 Season, Greater Richland Little League is partnering with Richland National Little League to offer the Little League Softball program for girls age 6-12 years old!
Depending on the # of registered players per division, GRLL may form a team that plays within the Richland National (RNLL) league OR GRLL will provide the RNLL Softball board with all players registration information so that they may be added to a team at RNLL to play for the season. These players would remain GRLL registered players, but be added to RNLL teams to be able to compete in 2026.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.
 
Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 
 
Before you begin, please make sure you have done the following steps:
  1. Verified that you live or your child attends an elementary or middle school in the Greater Richland Little League boundary.
  2. Have your child’s birth certificate AND proof of residency documents ready.
  3. Determine your child’s Little League Age and Division.
  4. Have your credit card information available to complete registration through our secure site.
 
SOFTBALL Divisions
  • Single A - Runs through Baseball: 5 & 6 year olds - please sign up using the baseball registration.
  • AA - Machine Pitch: 6 - 9 year olds (6 year olds must have at least one year of organized play experience)
  • AAA - Player Pitch: 9 - 11 year olds (8 year olds may play AAA if they are drafted during try-outs)
  • Majors - Player Pitch: 10 - 12 year olds (10 and 11 year olds may play in Majors if they are drafted during try-outs)
 
*League age is determined by your child's age as of December 31, 2026. See League Matrix for further details.
 
SOFTBALL Playing Up
If your player would like to play up a division, please let us know. They must attend the tryouts for the AAA or Major division. At tryouts, your player’s skills will be assessed and we will determine if they are approved to play up a division. Additional fees may apply depending on the division.
 
SOFTBALL Try-Outs
If your player is 8+ years old, or would like to play in AAA or Majors, they will be required to try out. During tryouts, players’ skills will be evaluated. The tryout ensures that players are placed on a team in a division that will provide them with the best experience. It also helps the league ensure teams are balanced across the division. All registered players will be placed on a team.
 
Players must attend one of the following tryout dates (these are tryouts being put on by RNLL and will be held at the Badger Mountain fields):
 
Saturday, March 7th OR Saturday, March 14th
 
12 year olds @ 10 AM               
11 year olds @ 10 AM          
10 year olds @ 10 AM        
9 year olds @ 10 AM        
 
*8 year olds trying out for AAA must try-out with 9s, and 10 - 11 year olds trying out for Majors must try-out with 12s.
 
*If a player candidate is unable to participate in either tryout session with good reason they may be eligible for the draft provided she informs the RNLL President and Player Agent of the reason no later than the morning of the final Majors Division tryout date and the RNLL Board of Directors determines the reason to be justifiable.
 
SOFTBALL All - Star Eligibility
In order to be eligible for All-Stars, players MUST participate in tryouts.
 
Regular Season Dates:
AA/AAA/Majors: March 16th thru May 30th
 
SOFTBALL - Other Important Information:
  • All jerseys are required to be returned at the end of the season. If the jersey is damaged or not returned, there will be a $75 replacement cost. This may be billed or added to next year’s registration in order to register.
  • Each player should be equipped with the following gear for their personal use: 
  • Softball glove;
  • USA approved softball bat;
  • Cleats;
  • Pants, belt and socks as agreed upon by manager; and
  • Batting helmet with face guard.

SOFTBALL -> Pre-Season Softball Clinic in Partnership with D-Bat Columbia Basin
Richland National Little League is excited to team up with D-Bat Columbia Basin to offer a 7-week pre-season clinic.
 
Details:
When: Thursdays, January 15–February 19, from 6:30 PM–8:00 PM
Where: D-Bat Columbia Basin
 
Cost:
FREE for players with a D-Bat membership (or those who sign up for one at the time of the clinic).
$75* for players without a membership (a special discounted rate). *if signed up by 12/28/25
$100 for players without a membership after 12/28/25.
This clinic is designed to focus on fundamental skills and serve as a great kickoff for the upcoming season.
Please note, the camp is limited to 40 participants.
